2012GRANDWATT was established in Suffolk, Virginia, USA, it was the subsidiary of Superwatt, which was established in 1993 by Du, Wei (David) in China.

2013-2017Grandwatt researched and developed lots of diesel generator set, light towers and natural gas engines for North America market, some of those got UL listed and CSA certificate.

2017Grandwatt separated itself from Superwatt became an independent US corporation, it dedicated to North and South America market.

2018Grandwatt Electric (Shandong) Co., Ltd was established in Shandong, China, it became core manufacture base of Grandwatt, and Grandwatt began developing global market beyond North and South America.

2018-2020Grandwatt unveiled its innovatively unique light towers and generator set in Bauma, Power-Gen and Middle East Electricity (MEE).
